yay! me just received my actual wedding day photos from my AD photographer yesterday!
all 3.6GB of them :).
had fun viewing all the photos (1600+) with hubbi last night till late.
luckily 90% of the photos turn out fine, even for those with us caught in candid moments.

no time to make selection on what should be printed out.
jetting off to istanbul this evening! *weeeeeeeeee* cant wait.

is it only me?
but honeymoon to me is just another excuse to travel! *heh*
no romantic undertones what-so-ever. bleh.

life's good. till i come back to work...:P

update:
heard from ser that athens & greek islands have zara outlets which are noteably cheaper than SG ones.
*grinz* i want to shop. i want to shop. :D

vivocity!

i can really really start to like vivocity, albeit the throngs of people!
most of the brands there appeal to me!
can see myself going mad there whenever payday is here.

but that got to wait. my cash flow will only be healthy by dec.
bleh, with the honeymoon, banquet balance, dining table to be bought and what-nots.

still, this doesnt stop me from getting myself a zara top yesterday. :)

anyway weekend has been pretty busy for me. went to settle some outstanding admin:
-sent my studio/outdoor wedding negatives to be scanned to CD-rom finally. collecting this coming tuesday.
-met up with my friends to watch my wedding video yesterday. had a blast just goofing around with them and talking nonsense.
-come round to packing up for our honeymoon (upcoming this wednesday! *sweeT*) today finally.
-back-up tons of photos (3 cd-roms no less) from wayyy back.

on my way to vivocity later once again. hope there's food for us this time round. :)

sorry.
that's what hubbi told me twice yesterday. once via sms and the other time in the study room.
he has been kinda busy for these 2 weeks since we came back from HK.
he had conference calls last thurs, yest & tonight.
these calls normally lasted from 10pm to near midnight, leaving me to entertain myself with the tube, supper (bad) & sleeping before he's done (thats what happened yesternight).
is that what the sorry for?

other than this, he mentioned that we will have our time come next week. :)

our first weekend together!

hubbi and i just had our first weekend together :).
technically, the weekend at HK WAS supposed to be our first after the wedding but being overseas doesnt really count, no?
anyway, i just want to mention here that dear dear and me discovered a new way to waste our time together!

the answer is........ PLAY!
as in the play stations that are located all over singapore and allow you to borrow the latest/old Dvds at very affordable costs!
never mind that i actually applied the card like last year (?), but it finally made sense for us to use it for this weekend!
so we borrowed 2 dvds - C.R.A.Z.Y & hoodwinked- for only $9!
what a blast. the only drawback is we have to return the discs by the next day.
not too much of a problem since we can use our dvd recorder to save whichever movie that we cant finish in time.
what a great way to waste your weekend away!
haha i said "waste" cos the 2 shows aint that nice after all. lolz~

travel!! - love of my life :)

yippee yay! chanbrothers has finally gotten back with confirmation to my extension request!
So GREECE, here i come!
so looking forward to the greek islands, istanbul & capadoccia! though weather maybe a tad too cold for me over there, im sure i 'll fun anyway! *weeeeeee*

talking about travel, hubbi and i had just came back from HK!
its been a good 4 years since we last went there.
and boy, did i really shop this time round! :) not exactly alot alot per se. but i really enjoyed my 4D3N there.

day1:

someone should really tell SQ to upgrade their blanket design. *bleh*

our yummy brunch! flight food can be quite nice at times. esp when you are absolutely famished.
we had a quick bath upon reaching our hotel and hit the streets asap! though it was already 3+ by then, we still went ahead to grab a bite. hk food fare is good anytime, anywhere!

mongkok is absolutely fantastic to shop at. my second fav place to shop in HK, other than causeway bay!

my purchases for the 1st day!

Day 2:
Disneyland!!!! yup, i must admit that HK disneyland is really v v small compared to paris one. in fact, i read somewhere that paris is 4 times the size of HK one!
but still, being small (and v v new!) has its advantages. very manageable.
we managed to see all the shows and took (almost) all the rides there. :) and my fav is the 3D mickey show! very realistic! and having donald duck as the lead doesnt hurt one bit. donald duck is my fav!

my shopping!! i cant resist disneyland stuff, albeit super commercialised!

disneyland over there closes at 7pm (can you believe that?! crap.). so we went for some supper after that. HK desserts is really a hit-n-miss thing for me.
its a miss for this dessert - almond mixed with egg. urg..can you imagine its taste?
and its warm! yucky thing tastes worse if its warm. *bleh*


Day 3:

grabbed a yummy true-blue HK style breakfast before heading out!
very tiring day for us. first half of the day was spent shopping at causeway bay. despite the hot weather, and both of us feeling a bit under the weather, we pushed ourselves to shop, shop, shop!

and i discovered a great dessert! steamed milk! no kidding. it tasted so much better than how it looks like. *yummy*

in the evening, we went up the peak! nice view and cool up there!
and after that, we rushed back to Tsim Sha Tsui to watch the laser show at 8pm sharp. by then, my poor feet were like jelly. i didnt even have strength for supper that night. we just grabbed some snacks and headed back hotel to rot away.

i love the bag!! :) and i cant stop buying shoes from HK! they are to-die-for! all in all i got 6 pairs from there! *yay*

Day 4:
what's HK without its dim sum! we had the most delicious dim sum brunch at this restaurant at London plaza. 7-8 plates only set us back a mere S$13!
yesh! u read me right. THIRTEEN BUCKS!!

more last minute shopping for me despite checked out of hotel & luggage packed. *hiaks*
finally its back to HK airport for our flight to SG.

all in all its been a really good trip! hubbi & me thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
everyone should go HK!!

i hope my upcoming turkey+greece trip will be as satisfying too! :)

our wedding 25.09.2006

so the BIG day is finally o-v-e-r! phwee.... i've the most hectic year planning for this one singular day, and now its *poof* over in a twinkling of an eye. *eyelid battling*
but it was a really good experince. it was so tiring for me but i was really happy for the whole day. thanks to the most wonderful bunch of "sisters" in the whole world!
you know who you are! hope u guys have fun on that day too! :)

a recap of that mad day:
so i woke up early in the morning at 530, feeling eerily refreshed (which is a weird thing cos i suffer insomnia till nearly 2am). bathed and before long, shirley (my make up artist) was busy working on me at 615.
ah D, being the hardworking one, reached my house at 7 before everyone else and before my make up was even properly done. lolz~ GB arrived right after. the rest were late!! but all managed to reach by 745, which is really early by the way!
we've fun fooling around while waiting for the groom to come.

it started raining and dear dear was caught in a jam at PIE. luckily his brothers and him managed to reach my house by 815. then the usual gate crashing activities begin. he sang a horrendous version of "老鼠爱大米", drank some vile concoctions prepared by my sisters etc. after much hassling on the ang bao amount, the door was opened! :)

after that, was a mad dash of travelling. from there, our incredibly big group of bridal party (2 of us, 9 sisters & 7 brothers) made our way to esplanade for some photo-taking.

and then, its to his house for tea ceremony with his parents. then back to my own house to change into kua. and then back to my mum's house for tea ceremony with my parents.
by then, my hair was messy, my face starting to shine, my body starting to sweat from the thick heavy kua. and i was getting a little grouchy.

by the time i reached Pan Pac at 3+, i was totally tired out. by then, i was about to fall asleep even when standing! but there was simply no time for that! while my sisters and his brothers were busy snoring away, dear dear and me went to bath, monitor the making of 2nd montage (done by his helpful brother!) and before i knew it, it was 5pm and my turn to make up once again! *gosh*

zm ambushed me with ang bao while im making up.

*rawr* im ready to go!

from here, everything seems to be moving in fast-forward mode. i went downstairs to mingle abit with my sisters & relatives. then its solemnization time @ 645.
the JOP went missing the whole while before appearing in the last min. lolz~ luc

and then its photo-frenzy once again at the reception area. all in all i've real fun with my friends throughout the dinner. getting high and all. yesh, i got high at my own wedding! lolz!

and dearie and me spent the night counting money! hehehe.

we had our breakfast in the room the next morning.
and after that, it was home sweet home to rest before setting off for HK!
