时间真得不够用！

时间真得不够用！
每天忙忙碌碌（or maybe not really..:P) 工作，回到家已是七点多。
吃晚餐，更宝宝玩玩，帮宝宝洗洗脸，再安抚他睡就已经是九点出。
再来就是做做家务（bit by bit, if not 累积起来会有够吓人！），如洗衣服，扫扫地etc。
然后冲个凉就十点多了！
睡虫就会在此刻侵袭，重重的睡意挥之不去。。
然后，俺就会心不甘，情不愿的准备就寝。
不到一会儿，已是六点半。又得喂宝宝喝奶奶，然后新的一天又开始了！

时间真得不够用！

我之前买的衣服，包包等，都还原封不动的坐在他们的纸袋里！
根本没时间拿出来！有没有再夸张点！？

时间真得不够用！

但还是愿意让宝宝把我的时间都吃掉！哈。

and then i went on a shopping spree once again....

the husband gave me words of wisdom recently: sale, we can only buy things from a sale.
how true is this! with all the CNY sale going on ard, its hard not to shop, ya?

and so.... i buy bUY n BUY for the past week. :P

1) went raffles city shop shop with hubby + wormy yesterday and guess what? KATE spade is having 30% sale!!! and the bag that i always wanted (for like the past 2 mths...) is one of the sale items! with hubby's approval, i went ahead and get it! yay, just like that! *happie*
i got the orange bag (got to choose between red, white, black + orange. as i said, orange is secretly a fav. color of mine!), suitable for CNY..lol.

2) topshop having sale or sorta. there's no sign anywhere but certain designs are tagged down. chanced upon this very nice top going at 40% off! no way am i going to pay $80+ for a top but $53? hell yeah! hiaks. lucky those 2 tops that i got from topshop last month for CNY are still at original price.. if not, heart damn pain. :)

3) robinson having sale....! i got myself yet another pair of shoes! actually not alot, this CNY only got myself 2 new pairs (unlike the 4 pairs last CNY!). both are flats, no thanks to wormy. got to wear safe shoes for the time being carrying him..
anyway this flats that i bought is damn comfy.. original px is at a gagging $189! cannot imagine anyone buying at the original price.. but robinson having 50% +10% off, so i got it at $85! not exactly cheap but its really worth the price for its comfy level. :)

4) LVER got 10% off if you pay by AMEX card! i got 2 very nice tops from there @ vivocity.

so now ive a lot of new tops for CNY but no bottoms. :(
no mind.

i cant believe CNY is like THIS WED! *yippee* looking forward to all the ang baos (for wormy).
NOT looking forward to my credit card bills.

hubby + i rested at home, watching DVD (or rather i) cos "881" proved to be too boring for him. lol. baby starting to have an interest in TV! guess thats bad.. lucky he fell asleep for his nappie when we were watching the show. no TV watching (keep to minimum lah) for wormy till he's 2!

at late noon, we started preparing for outing to centrepoint! Times is having 25% sale storewide for its opening! *wee*

and its shop shop shop for us! i got Gina Ford's "The contented baby's 1st year" from Times. quite a steal at 25% off :) and a new cloth book for wormy. though ive not been most diligent with reading to him. ha.

went to robinsons and let wormy had a go at thevery popular jumperoo!
he enjoyed the jumperoo despite his not-so-convincing expression. heh.

hubby and i were considering if we should get it. but at $239, its really too much. perhaps we can rent it just like what Augustine did for his daughter. hmm....
bo bian. i dont believe in spending so much on toys as compared to books/clothes for him. heh.
i shall be his biggest playmate!

back home, we wiped him down and feed him and quickly settled him to zzz by 9pm. getting past his bedtime made him a very angry little terror!

im all ready for sleeping!!

p/s: i finally shed ONE more kg from dont know when. sooo long to kick that ONE kg off. *pui*
so now im officially at 56kg. ONE(or maybe 2, for i cant really remember exactly whats my pre-preggy weight..) more kg to go!

what's new?

nothing's new. so sad. been busy with work and wormy for most of the time.
the only free time the husband and i really have is wed + thursday evening when wormy is @ my mum's place.
but CNY is round the corner so im forced by the husband to commit the only little free time we have to spring-cleaning. *sobz*

still, i took 1 day off yesterday while the husband took half day off. :)
i spent the morning taking care of wormy alone.. and im really glad about that. been some time since i last spend time with him ALL ALONE! :)
hubby was back with my lunch and we rested awhile while waiting for best denki men to come. YESH! we brought a 26" LCD for our room! *wee*
soo happy that i can watch tv in our room when i need to sooth him to sleep at night.. :)

then at 5pm, we whisked him to my mum's place and we headed out to vivo for some "us-time".
we caught "3:10 to Yuma" and im really glad we did so! for its a nice show! even the ever critical hubby mentioned that the show is above his expectations. ha.
russel crowe is very charming in the show and i finally can understand why some are attracted to him depsite his less-than-perfect looks. heh. bale is the same. ever good.

went shop shop before heading home and i got some sleepsuits for wormy! 20% at mothercare and i feel its a steal! being kiasu, i brought 9-12 mths ones for him to start wearing ard june (he'll be ard 8mths old) when the weather gets hot and thus the need to on the air-con. but when i got home, i realise the size is really big.. :( perhaps i should go back + get some more for 6-9 mths. really want him to start wearing soon for they are soooo cute. heez.

wormy went out shopping yesterday~

yesterday was like wormy's longest day out! after bathing him, we let him nap a short 30 mins while we pack baby stuff (packing milk feed/diapers/baby wipes etc is no easy feat!) for the outing.
then we whisked him to our jazzy & off we go at 10+am! wormy has slowly learnt his place in his baby car seat. he used to wail after the car get moving for awhile, demanding to get out of the car seat & be held by me. but this time round, he sat there alternating between smiling (for im playing with him constantly to prevent him from crying the house down) & a puzzled expression for the whole journey. lolz.

1st stop: isetan scotts... is an extremly baby-friendly place. i esp. love their nursery room. spacious, bright & clean. what can a mother ask for? heh.

after feeding him there at 11am, we went shopping and got ourself bolsters for baby to lean on while sleeping sideways. PD said baby right side of the head is kinda flat (our fault for we didnt bother changing wormy's head position for the 1st 2 mths of his life), so need to sleep on his left side to let the flat side "grow". abit sad to see his head in funny shape. but oh well, baby head is still soft for the 1st year, hopefully his head will become rounder with this side sleeping position.

shopping for ah long and myself failed. nothing much nice to buy. wormy is being very "guai", contented with lying in his pram with the almighty "du-du". heh.

2nd stop: takashimaya kino. then we slowly made our way to taka in the hot blistering sun at noon. wonder when will the mrt underpass be ready. i hate getting out in the sun!
we had a light lunch at coffee club in kino while wormy decided to take a nap. thanks god! :)


then we shopped there for some books for him but in the end we decided not to buy any for there's no sale going on and childrens' books are ridiculously expensive. lucky we didnt buy any for my MIL told me this morning that my bro-in-law & sis-in-law had passed her many books+flashcards for wormy! :)
will be collecting from her house this coming sunday. sooo happy. i would love to read to my wormy sooN!

3rd stop: rest of taka. wormy got a little fussy at taka and we take turns holding him. but once he's settled, we put him in his pram and continued shopping. we got him 2 trousers but seem like abit too big for him. oops. no mind will try letting him wear come 6 mths old. ah long got himself a belt and i got nothing for myself. sobz. nothing is nice leh.. lucky i got most of my CNY clothings covered. but im still lacking a belt leh.. anyway taka nursery room is quite nice too but super crowded with wailing babies ha. lucky we stayed short while to change his diapers only.

4th stop: isetan scotts again. and time flies and its time for his next feed again at ard 3+, so we made our way back to isetan scotts for his feed and to collect our car too. shopped abit more for baby stuff but bought nothing except some new towels for him.. we wanted to get him the bumbo seat but his neck seems like not yet steady for it leh.


5th stop: great world city. yes, its been a LONG LONG day for wormy. he just fell asleep in his baby car seat en-route to great world and i did not have the heart to transfer him from the car seat to the pram for he was sleeping so soundly. but bad parents us went ahead and he woke up shortly when we brought him to the nursery room to change his diapers. n he promptly fell back asleep in his pram. we went shop abit & have dinner there and finally headed home. reached home ard 645pm and settled a VERY TIRED wormy to sleep on his fav. mattress in the living room.

so wormy actually went out for a good 7-8 hours yesterday! and he fussed like only 10-15% of the whole time. this is a good start. i cant wait for weekends to come so can bring him to lots more new places!

wormy is 3 months old today!

WORMY is officially 3 months old TODAY! how time flies.. its been nearly a year since i got preggy with him last feb. Heez.
so how do we celebrate the special day?
we brought him to the PD for his monthly vaccine jab! OUCH! :P

and now we are staying in to monitor if there's a resulting fever from the jab. ha, what a way to spend sat. but i like it since i rarely got to spend time with him during the week, given my work rendered me sooo tired & his bedtime is oh-so-early 9/10pm.

but no mind, the good thing is that he normally is able to sleep through the night from 9+ to next day ard 5-6am. of cos, there s the night feed in between at around 12mn which he promptly fall back to sleep. heh. so far, life is manageable except the missing part.
YES, i do miss my son SOOO much when im at work. :(

though im about to get ready to actively plan for my japan trip with mummy dearest this coming end mar. wahaha.
im a bad mummy hor... leaving wormy for a good 7D6N.
but disneyland tokyo is too good to be missed!!

dirty toilets suck!

dont u hate it when you go to the toilets and people dirtied them??
i hate it when i see pee droplets on the toilet seats!!!!!!!!!!!!!
arent we supposed to be educated people working together?? so why are my company toilets getting dirtied again and again by dont know which of my co-workers?? ARG!

if you are worried about the hygience of common toilets n refuse to sit on them, you can line the seat with toilet paper like me mah.
or if you are really paranoid abt germs and INSIST on not touching the toilet seat, PLS squat over the toilet bowl STANDING up.
NOT squatting on the toilet seat itself.
AND PLS put up the TOILET seat. cos we are girls, we cant control the flow like guys.. pee is bound to spray on the seat itself!!
how inconsiderate of people to do that!
AND IF BO BIAN, your pee droplets do fall on the seat, do have the decency to wipe it away with toilet paper.

i really hate hate hate it when i see pee droplets on the toilet seats!

1) this is me having lunchie with hubby at the korean crystal jade @ centrepoint. must say the lunch set is really not bad costing around $10++ & you got many side dishes to go along with your main dish.
me chose BBQ sliced beef as usual! *yummy*

2) brought baby out to marina sq to get his CNY clothes last last sat. he sat quietly in his pram for like a good half hour before he decided to start wailing. lol.

forward to happy stuff bah. yesterday was my last day of "jobless" time so i went to look for the husband for lunch @ orchard.
he brought me to this quaint authentic jap restaurant @ cuppage there. the set meal is really nice + delicious! costing ard 14-16 bucks per set, we both feel the food is value-for-money.

afterwhich, i went shopping (what else?!) alone while he went back to work.
carefully steering clear of certain shops, i managed to buy nothing for myself! well almost nothing, i did get myself a novel. but hey, reading is good habit. :)

but i had fun shopping for wormy hehe. got him some baby stuff + a new set of PJs for 年三十晚. im very olf-fashioned. feel that should start CNY with totally new clothes for a great year ahead!
so wormy got new clothings for CNY eve, CNY day 1 + 2! *grinz*

oh, and i get him a book from Lamaze too. its filled with different textures + interactive parts.
i shall start reading to him once he's able to sit up with minimal support. :) sooo fun.
unless he turns out to be like his dad who doesnt like reading. :(
baby, pls be like mummy. love to read and i have many many enid blytons/secret seven back at gramps' home for you!


but its really high time for me to assess my finances!! yawn.

multi-tasking
i realised i sure can multi-task. in fact, i find it nice to have a whole lot of to-do things (non-work related, of course) waiting for me to accomplish.
i think i like the idea of stretching my available time to do a host of stuff.
so the next time i tell you that i cant multi-task, im lying.

logic
why is it that logic is so not instilled in some people?
and normally, such people are equipped with that awful brand of stubborness that fails to let them see beyond their own beliefs.
i admit that i may have problems seeing from people's perspectives at times too, but no matter what, seeing is believing. so i will be persuaded/convinced if i see for myself what they meant.
BUT, some people cant see logic for what it is. despite witnessing 1st hand the true scenario, they still insist their way.
if they go further this way, i shant be bothered with them, lest my feelings got affected.
so im gonna speak my mind. and believe me, speaking one's mind DOES get better with age.

hello everyone! im going back to work this friday!
how GROSS! maternity leave is over like in a flash.
now i really start to miss my wormy. hence, for the past 2 days, i requested my mother-in-law not to come, giving me precious ALONE time with my wormy! *heez*

missing the baby
been awhile since im home alone in redhill...
the last time that i can recall was when ah long was @ south afica for work & i was ard 5 mths preggy.
i was afraid of being alone back then.
being a mum changed me now. taking care of baby is surely worse than home alone! lolz.
this is a good time for me to recharged myself without worrying when's the next feed or when wormy will become fussy.
but... im missing him now. :(

oh, we went to marina with wormy today to get him some CNY clothes as well.
got him a jeans+cute t-shirt from mothercare.
and i bought him a nice top + pair of shoe sfrom robinson previously too. :)
cant wait to see him in those outfits!
lucky wormy got himself a very nice playmat too. wormy, quick quick learn to roll over then we can put you on it leh!! heh.

want to get him some interactive stuff to put on his pram as well. but guess that got to wait till he can sit up more upright before he can appreciate these.

im very tired now but just feel like blogging this out before i K.O. myself out.
just came back from jacky cheung's concert & i can only say im a very happy woman! :))
i've treated ah long to the concert as his bday's prezzie (though its more of me wanting to go for the concert, lolz).
anyway, the concert was GOOD! it lasted a good 3 hours+ which jacky belted out songs after songs in his superd voice!
its amazing i didnt lose my voice singing along. but i didnt get to sing along much for really not familiar with his new songs. :P

all i can say is his voice is damn good! i almost teared when he sang my favs - feng shou zhong yao zai yu tian & zi xiang yi sheng geng ni zou.
really, almost teared. i think got teared lah, just that the tears stay in my eyes. hiaks. so much emotions!!
anyway, suddenly remember the show "perhaps, love" when he sang some of the songs from the musical movie. suddenly got an overwhelming desire to re-watch it. dont know why.

pp/s: im still a disgusting 57kg (ONE kg down from my previous weight of 58kg 2 weeks ago NIA.). pui! when will i return to my pre-preggy weight of 53kg. okie, maybe i should be realistic & aim for 55kg. since i was only 53kg for awhile back then. hiaks. whatever. im getting bored with watching my diet & want to stuff myself silly with chips! jack & jill, anyone??
