am i ready....

to start a new chapter in my (working) life?

after 2 and a half years in my current company, i'm suddenly faced with 2 new job offers. well, not suddenly but a result of nearly 2 months of mad frenzy of sending resumes, going for a handful of interviews and praying madly to get an offer. and finally, here they are.

and then.... i feel lost.

what an idiot. 2 questions to answer. which should i take up? should i leave my current firm?

1) which should i take up?
i know the sequence of questions is wrong but i really want to weigh the 2 options and try to visualise where will each one take me to.
after talking to numerous people (6 no less!) today, the fog started to clear a little. i guess i sorta know what i want, but i just need more assurance.
2) should i leave my current firm?
i guess the answer is quite obvious. i'm leaving.

or maybe not. sigh.
I'll miss the late office hours, the flexibility, the long leave, the pay prospects. but everything that is also good about the job is slowly leaving me the longer i stay on. my friends, job satisfaction, happiness. :(

i'll have to give both of them an answer by tomorrow. i guess 船到桥头自然直。whichever decision i make, i hope i've the strength to make it through. at least for 2-3 years before i start looking out for new positions again. ha.

some things never change. i love interviews! sick huh? :p
