its our 4 years 2 months anniversary! lolz~ we went waraku for dinner and i must declare to the whole wide world that i LOVE waraku's potato mentai! it simply made me orgase with its melting cheese and potatoes! cheese & potatoes. i can live on these two like forever (forever being used as a relative term here. realistically meaning 1 week or so. :P)!
absolutely yummy yakiniku don & potato mentai!~
ah long's first time to waraku!
and finally, i managed to print out some from my huge back-logged digital pixs last wed too. the last time i mass-developed photos was in June '05 after my Korea trip so imagine the huge number of photos awaiting me to select and develop this time round!
much as i tried to be as selective and stringent as possible (Eg: i only printed out like 4(?) pixs for my D&D 2005 when i've near to 70-80 pixs alone for that event), i still ended up developing 200 pixs and being $40 poorer! *madness*
madly-developing photos

went for my ever-first virgin pedicure with fiona on fri morning! yes, i've tried pedis at BKK and manis in SG before but never pedis in SG! it was fun and i chose a delectable plum color! im gonna wear open-toed shoes for the coming week at least. the pedi is too good to be ruined!
after the pedi, i rushed to my new house with ah long to meet up with our contractor to discuss the design of our capentry works (namely kitchen cabinets, feature walls for bomb shelter/TV, bay bench, vanity top for master toilet). it was real hard work. the meeting went from 3 to 6.30pm. i never know deciding on designs, colors etc can be so taxing. *bleh* a good 3 weeks before i can see how the designs translate from paper to physical form. i hope they turn out just fine! *crossed fingers*
after that, it's off to waraku (again..) to meet up with Neleus they all for dinner. what a tiring day for me with all the travelling to and fro! almost got blisters on my poor pretty (freshly pedicured, okie?!) feet..
nevertheless, we had fun like we ALWAYS do. desserts were great at this shop....i forgot its name...seems to be azarusoba at marina sq. its next to billy bombers! not exactly cheap (mine is $8++) but servings is huge and best to be shared between 2.
pp & huishan with the menu ~ huge array of dessert choices!
waiting for our table...
me & my dessert! (soft ice-cream with black sesame paste!)

our toilet basins, taps, kitchen sink, storage heater, rainshower set and toilet accessories were delivered to our house at 12 noon! we (more of ah long! :P) sweated like a pig unwrapping and checking the stock for completeness. but the effort was worth it! i love our rainshower set especially! cant wait for our contractor to install all the above. but, our toilet tiles, toilet bowls and doors are all blue (bleh~) in color. damn the HDB rule that forbid us to hack the tiles within 3 years. refusal to change toilet bowls and doors stems wholly from lack of budget. *sobz*
went to catch "where the truth lies" with dear dear later in the day. Gist of the show as below:
"A female journalist tries to uncover the truth behind the breakup, years earlier, of a celebrated comedy team after the duo found a girl dead in their hotel room. Though both had airtight alibis and neither was accused, the incident put an end to their act." (extracted from www.imdb.com)
the show is R(21) and judging from the poster, you can expect lots of nudity scenes. there is one particualr scene which im sure will excite most guys...yay! a lesbian sex scene! :)
having said the above, the show still shines from solid performances from Kevin Bacon and Colin Firth. Bacon, especially, rocks with his Lanny Morris role. this show is supposedly a suspense drama which unfolds itself slowly but surely to reveal the truth behind the murder (focal point of the whole show). however, i feel that the show will come off better as a novel. incidentally, this show IS adapted from a novel.

dear dear and me went jalan besar to shop for lightings for our house. within 2 hours, we bought the entire house lightings from a single shop! Lights Arcade is the place to go if you are looking for quality lightings (they use either Osram (the best!)or Philips), sincere professional advice (jane is one awesome salesgirl) and reasonable pricing. Choices can be limited here but im sure one should be able to find here most of the lightings that a house required.
delivery of lightings are set for coming saturday. cant wait for them to be installed sooN! by this weekend, we can expect painting to be done for the whole house. next week, we can expect laying of laminated wood for bedrooms, installation of lightings, toilet accessories and wardrobe for master bedroom! yipee!
