work ended at 550pm. me not exactly very happy cos a meeting dragged longer than it should. really, i've enough of redundant meetings. ~bleh~
met ah long at harbourfront and we went to oxford tailor for his shirts! lucky his bonus come in time for him to do up his shirts. our photoshoot is just 1 mth away!
in the end, we decided on a white (what else?) one for the day and a light pink (to match my evening gown!) for the night. :)
went to OG sale (sidenote: there were tons of sales going on during this weekend! OG, Metro, Robinson, Isetan! you guys been to any?) and got ourselves another set of bedsheets (we've 2 already). *grinz* shopping for bedsheets is getting addictive for me! lolz~
29th Apr (sat)
its WEST SIDE STORY THE MUSICAL for ah long and me!! *woohoo* i was so looking forward to it before this but sad to say, i'm a little disappointed with the musical. the music aint catchy and it's not as high-energy as other musicals like mama-mia or fame. *sigh* but well, the setting aint too bad and ah long never fall asleep (though he threaten to in Act 1!)..

oh, we bought our wedding bands on sat too! :) it took less than an hour in all at tampines mall ha. we were shopping at soo kee and found a pair that we think is not bad. but ah long has reservations for the design so we made our way to lee hwa on the other side. in the end, we saw a pair that we (or rather I) like and hence, we bought our wedding bands there and then! our bands are from the destinee range and only have 10% off as compared to the rest (20%). :(
but.....luckily i've the aspial card and that entitled us to a further 10%! yay! so peeps out there, if any of you want to buy lee hwa jewellery, can get the card from me! 10-20% off!

eh...hem....i've something to confess... im still into idols! hahah. and guess who i went to see last sun?! LEE HOM! yay! LEE HOM the one whos tall, handsome (seriously he look better in person!), super talented and everything else!

but again, we are one of the very few there who do not belong to his fan club, not sure of the songs in his new album and can't sing along for nuts. lolz~ whatever! he's cute!

he's like the perfect partner! my dream is for him to sing to me everynight before i sleep! ha
after this 歌友会, i went to meet ah long at IMM. and we shopped and shopped for furnitures till we drop! for all our tedious effort, we managed to place deposit for our sofa! yay! all the major furnitures are settled (mattress, plasama TV and now this!)!
we settled for a sofa that's kinda like a rip-off of Minotti sofa. This design, in particular
:) the original costs ard $20-30k? my pirated one is definitely much cheaper but still ex for our budget :(. but sigh, i think its wise to invest in a good, comfy sofa since im such a TV junkie.. :P
1st May (mon)
went to science centre with ah long to catch an omnimax show! been more than a year since i last went science centre! the last time i was there was for LOTR exhibition.
we caught the show: Greece: secrets of the past
ah long, having getting his bonus, treated his parents and me to Hot Stones at clarke quay in the evening! i had tenderloin steak but i guess i over-cooked mine. cos i was so traumatised by the blood oozing out that i pressed my steak frantically on the hot stones to get it well-cooked. so much so that they become a tad too hard. *sobz*

their onion soup and potato salad is nice! but again, i feel the food is over-priced. i never believe in paying so much for food that you need to cook yourself!
after dinner, dear dear and me went walk-walk around Liang court. and to complete the weekend furniture shopping, we stumbled upon this furniture shop OM http://www.om-home.com/OM.htm which sells (over our budget) furniture but happened to have sale going on for some items!!
*yippee* we bought our coffee table and the rug for our living room there! i'm very happy cos the rug was exactly what i wanted for our living room all along. being red and caterpillar-styled. ah long is very happy cos the coffee table is cheap after discount. ha. our differences...
so i had a tiring but fun long weekend. and we are left with dining table & curtains to be purchased for our house before we can move in! capentry will be finished by mid-may..i cant wait to move in!
P/s: there will be house-warming once my house is done up! most are invited. ha.
