it's now residing on our dining table but will be shifted to the tv conole platform once its cleared of all the photo albums. :b
met up with the guys on thursday @ bugis. realised we spent a considerable time reminiscing about the past alot nowadays. anyway, blurry pix. no thanks to daniel.
had a great saturday. lazed in bed till nearly noon. woke up to lunch bought by hubbi. THEN has another nap from 1-2pm. really feel like a pig. after which, both of us get ready for yet another movie outing!
hubbi and i made our way to The Cathay to catch "babel". kinda like the cathay for its lack of crowds though the shops there dont exactly cater to my taste. a tad too high-end. heh.
we had a mini tea-break at this cafe there before the show started. cant remember the name but the decor of the cafe is really nice. and the cups & bowl there are all lopsided. interesting!
see, the cup is lopsided.
anyway, the food is quite nice. especially their mushroom soup. the husband and i are thinking of re-visiting it for other special occasions since the pricing is reasonable & the place seems rather quiet (which we like).
we went on to catch "babel" which hubbi declared to be the worst movie of his 2007, despite him catching only THREE movies (including Babel) so far this year. i dun dare to argue too much with him on that since it seems to be my WORST movie so far this year. hmm, i should have learnt my lesson from "21 grams". what makes me think that i would like this show when i didnt enjoy "21 grams" and these 2 shows share the same director. bah.
i hope "the illusionist" will be better. & oh, i think im gonna catch "bobby" as well soon. will the list of movies-to-catch ever end?
after the show we went to plaza sing for dinner before making our way to chinatown. it's nearly 8+ when we arrived & we managed to "hear" some fireworks. lolz. the fireworks was set off from the top of building beside us so we only managed to see some of it only.
we picked up some CNY decorations for the home. i wanted to buy more but as usual, ah long forbade that! bleh.
decor is up at chinatown!
once home, we went to put up the decorations! nice, huh? :)
