where the money is.

of all the places in south france that we went for this trip, monaco rocks!
its really one of the smallest countries in the world. but what a country!
totally for the rich. it boosts one of the highest GDP per capita in the whole world, if you do not know.

ok, the place was efficient and organised. reeking of safety.
we went to the jardin exotique which is basically a garden with exotic plants.
mainly alot of cactuses. heh.
i enjoyed this place a lot for its on the side of the cliff.
so we got to see most part of monaco at bottom of our feet when cruising downwards in it.

steep walk down and up. *puff*

monaco in the background!

there were some observatory caves in this garden too.
over 1000+years, rainwater seeped through the mountain and carried some properties from the soil on top (= rich in CO2) and formed these caves (=melting them out).

like wax, hor?

we walked about 60m deep into the caves to see the inside. abt 300+ steps up and down!
half the time, im scared the caves will caved in! scaredy cat me!
this is the 3rd time im so underground, apart from being in the underground city in capadoccia & salt mine in karkow.
i think i dont like it. :(

and of cos, need to go see see the monte carlo casino lah. hehe.
very grand-looking though its so much smaller than what i thought.

it has this interesting fountain display in front of it that captures the whole reflection of the casino. nice.

at the back of casino

along the street

bird eye view of monaco

monaco is really a great place to visit. though making our way there made my ear popped alot!
too high up in the mountain lah.
