my lil' peanut turns 3mths old tomorrow!
brough him to the PD for his monthly vaccines and review this morning.
yz followed as well as he is due for 1 more jab too!
yz was to take 2-in-1 booster jab for MMR & chicken pox.
once the needle poke through his right thigh skin, the crying started and big fat tears rolled down his cheeks.
poor boy. he was much easily distracted when taking the jabs last time.
no wonder jabs are best taken when they are still babies.
luckily, the biscuit offered by the PD after the jab did the trick.
he was back to his cheerful self after that.
yz weighs 14.4kg and is 95cm tall coming 2.5yo.
next, its didi's turn.
this time was the prenavar jab which was said to be painful.
either that or peanut's pain threshold is low.
the screaming started once the needle pierced through his skin and big fat tears rolled down the cheeks just like gor gor.
haha. those outside the room must be puzzled by the 2 sets of cryings. :P
for yr, pacifier and some cradling did the trick.
yr weighs 7.3kg and is 65cm tall (as compared to yz's 7kg and 66cm tall back then).
to yr: you have proved to be a more difficult and fiercer baby as compared to your gor gor.
if you are mummy's first born, i may have considered stopping at one! :P
the past few week have been a whirlwind for all of us who are your main caretakers.
we have been trying to decipher your temprement and go with your flow to minimise the crying and the screaming.
mummy has been saddened and depressed at times when you proved to be too much of a handful for me to handle.
but still, you are such a beautiful and precious baby of mine.
especially so when you are fast asleep with your curly long lashes on your angelic face.
mummy will try to be strong and try my best to accomodate you.
give you my love, patience and time as best as i can.
both gor gor and you are really my baobeis.
though now may be a tough period for all of us, im sure we can brave through the storms and emerge to a better future feeling blissful.
quoting from one of my fav. movie:
for i believe the night is darkest before the dawn. but the dawn always come.
