i was having my reservations when i read its description.
its just too much like our botanic gardens!
but no, we actually had a lot of fun when we were over there.
maybe, its the good weather that made walking under the sun looking at all the flora more bearable.
maybe, its cos yz really had such a good time at the sprawling wonderful playgrounds over there that ah long and me were tickled by him.
maybe, it due to it resembling hort park/henderson waves more after all than botanic garden. :P

after letting yz's hair down at the playground, we slowly made our way towards the visitor centre to the federation walk.
along the way, we made a rest stop muching on some tibits while taking in the sun and breeze.
the view is fantastic and the son enjoyed roaming around on his own on the green.
we had a good view of the swan river!

the federation walk cuts through a part of Kings Park and supposedly have some amazing f&f (flora) but i dont really know how to appreciate lah. oops.
but its a good walk for all of us, no doubt.

after that, its a slow hike back to the city which hubbi and i really enjoyed!
its some form of exercise yet there's minimal sweat in this kind of weather and humidity level. :)
we window-shopped here and there and of cos, brought yz to the toy section of the departmental stores.
he really really adores this wooden thomas & friends set!
currently, such wooden sets are not easily available back in sg malls.
i was so tempted to get him a set but as usual the stingy hubbi said no. :(
ok, more on perth later.
