just the mummy and the baby! (+the daddy in the later part)

por por has a date with her old friends, so mummy has to take childcare leave to take care of me today!
i enjoyed the day with mummy and im sure mummy loves every bits of today too (despite how tiring it is for her...)!

being a good boy, i slept till 8 am this morning and let mummy has more of her beauty sleep.
after woking up, she went to prepare my milk feed for me. *yummy*
then after doing some light housechores, mummy brought me to the playground downstairs and i had fun roaming here and there and disturbing other toddlers.
however, none was keen to play with me. :(

after 15-20mins or so, mummy decided she needs her brekkie so we left to tabao bee hoon.
i helped mummy carry the packet all the way home (though she was the one carrying me lah!).
mummy fed me my breakfast which is the same o'boring rice cereal (plus tasty fruit puree!).
after we were done, she proceeded to carry me down from my high chair but i refused!
she was surprised cos everytime after a meal, i will struggle and say "bao bao" asking her to carry me down.
so she asked me why didnt i want to come down, i just kept on pointing to her packet of bee hoon and said,"more!"!
yah, greedy me wanted mummy's breakfast as well!
mummy carried me down despite my protests and i started to (pretend) wail pitifully. seeing she ignoring me, i started to walk ard her chanting more more more!
till she buay tahan and fed me some mouthfuls! yay! :)

then we (or rather mummy) got very busy. mummy went to bath, then she bathed me and finally to prepare my barang barang.
for we were set to go for a lunch with mummy's colleagues!
lunch was to be treated @ wah lok cantonese restaurant @ Carlton hotel!
attention was showered on me when we reached and in a good mood, i smiled alot at the jie jies and aunties.
i even called out "jie jie" loudly to some of them.
my lunch was delicious fish porridge there and as usual, i kept mummy busy by making her fed me bits and pieces of what she was eating too.

lunch ended at 2pm and we bade goodbye to mummy's colleagues and we left for .......
NATIONAL LIBRARY!
heh. mummy went to return some books she borrowed previously and she thought the children section is a good place for me to go since i seem to enjoy reading at home.
or so she thought.

i napped for an hr and a half there, hence allowing mummy to have some time to read her stuff.
then i woke up and we made our way to the children section where i ended up walking around "terrorizing" adults and toddlers alike.
i think im too friendly liao. not all people can accept. heh.

so i'll walk around, pulled out a book, pretend to "read" by flipping a page or two. then abandon ship and walk else where to repeat above.
leaving poor mummy in my trail to put back the books.

we left around 5pm and mummy wanted to bring me to marina sq for some shopping.
but as the "holland queen" missed a crucial left turn, we were suddenly well on our way back home. *duh*

reached home and made mummy really mad for i kept on climbing the sofa despite her warnings all this time NOT to. and i deliberately drink in such a manner that the prune juice dribbled over my neck. mummy got so mad that she brought me to the "notti corner" and even beat my thighs n palms. i cried like mad and she put me on the floor and walked away.
i was really sad so i just lie there, looking pitiful.
mummy saw me like that and felt sorry for her actions as well. so she came back and wiped me down before changing my clothes.
then we went to nap together. :)

we were woken up by pappy who finally came home from his reservist at 6+pm!
i wasnt especially too happy to see him. i wonder why too. :P
we went tiong bahru for dinner and i was happy again for it has been a long time since the 3 of us go out together! :)

been a long day! me sleeping liao. too tired to blog so i shall ask mummy to blog for me.
