忙忙忙

weekend zipped past in a flash as usual.
still, i rather enjoyed this weekend for it was filled with activities that are not the usual run-of-the-mill type.

on saturday, the ng family lazed at home for whole of morning and most of the afternoon!
*shiok*
after that, hubbi and i decided we should get our asses moving.
given the cool weather after the downpour in afternoon, we took the train to raffles place to explore the new marina link!
the marina link mall aint anything fantastic but the its a good stroll when you exited it to walk to sands. :)
the scenery is really nice!
we had dinner and went walking around sands before taking a cab home from there.

the kiddos were all tired out by the outing that they zzz promptly by 930pm leaving hubbi and me to spend a quiet night feasting on chips and watching the tube. wahaha.

sunday was really packed for me, with me flying all over sg during the day!
i left the house with yr in tow around noon and made my way from redhill to tampines for shirley's housewarming cum xmas lunch party.
it was good chatter with the girls again.
im glad that shirley's like my present of vintage-designed earrings from soon lee & i absolutely love my agnes B notebook from ah boon. *beams*

after that, its mad rush to drive from tampines to ubi to deposit yr before zooming back to redhill to pick up the hubbi & yz for a movie at vivo!
sometimes, i amaze myself that im willing to spend so much time and effort just for outings.

we caught "Tron: Legacy" at 430pm and i must say i really like the show.
the effects were cool and the storyline was not as weak as i thought it will be.
most of all, im pretty touched by the father and son's love and the relationship between the creator and the programme.
jeff bridges acted so well, especially in the CLU's character! :)

after the movie, my parents and yr have arrived in time to meet us for dinner at tung lok signatures!
its my dad's bday this thurs so i've arranged to treat mum and him since we've got the tung lok vouchers!
its good that the voucher entitles us to $100 discount for over $200 receipt!
so its almost half-price for us.
the dishes were all good, but definitely not worth the retail prices. :P
it has been a real busy but good weekend for the ng family! :)
