our accom in luodong is in a minsu which boasts around 8 rooms and each of them has its own theme!
i chose the 南亚 villa which has a tropical theme.
the room was surprisingly much more spacious than i thought and there are alot of finishes in the room that show alot of thought was put into decorating the room. :)
the boys, especially love the "egg" rattan chair and deemed it as their "castle".
they spent most of the time in it playing and drawing, ha.
we didnt use the bathtub as it was really too cold for such a dip... :P
all of us took turns to have a good bath after the lake excursion in the earlier part of the day..
felt so good after a hot bath and sink into the bed lazing and watching tv.
taiwan is very into spongbob and its on most of the time on its cartoon network!
the boys enjoying the cartoon shows
the minsu also has its own deer farm at the back of it.
it is very small and the smell is quite blech if you ask me.
but we get to see deers up close and personal for the first time.
finally, its time to venture out for dinner.
we were actually unwilling to do so as it was so warm and toasty in the room and the temperature has dipped to around 18-19 dc outside... *brr*
but reservations had been made previously so we decided to brave the cold.
actually, the cold was minimal as we cab to and fro.. lol.
dinner was at this restaurant with good reviews online: 角烙餐厅
hubbi had their steamboat set meal while i opted for grilled cod fish.
the boys had fried rice with egg & bacon.
the food was good, especially my cod fish!
and the pricing is very reasonable. ahh, i love central taiwan.
hot pipping food is the best in cold weather!
and tomorrow, we will make our way to hualien!
