flurry of activities since the weekend! just the way i like it! oh yeah!
love mi concert on saturday with mad DD!
it has been a long while since my last concert - yoga's one.
this time round, im sitting 6th row from the stage! shiok!
but ended up standing 80% of the time cos all her 粉丝 stood up so we got to do the same, if not cant see her!!
never mind lah, cos we like to dance to her ah lian dance songs!
*woohoo*
realised some of my fav. songs of hers are 冷门 in the 1st place so didnt manage to hear most of 'em that night.
oh well, at least have 唯独你不可取替！！
went to marina square with the kiddos and hubbi on sunday.
bad mistake. realised that most of the jewellery shops are having mega discounts.
started browsing for fun, then asking some questions, then poring over the inventory list with the sales people.
uh-oh.
the pricing is really very reasonable given the specs!
hence, requested for the loot to be transferred to the shops for me to view on monday lunch!
monday came and with excitement, went down to marina sq again with the husband.
after lunch, im one gleeful owner of a pair of ear-rings but with a big hole in her pocket too.
tsk tsk.
i think i should not buy another bag next year.
and its been a long time since i last went on leave!
for me-time, that is.
so today i tried to as muchie as possible. i mean, what's new?
so the usual: eyebrow tweezing in the morning, gym at noon, "social network" after lunch and then off to fetch the son and hubbi for "megamind"!
yup, 2 shows in a day. very shiok!
especially when social network is such an awesome show!
coming from david fincher, the directing is really cool and fast-paced not unlike fight club.
the dialogue is fast and witty too. reminds me of juno. :)
and the acting delivered by the main leads is commendable too.
esp. Jesse Eisenberg. he really has the knack of delivering funny lines with a deadpan face.
i first saw him in zombieland and found him really funny and good. so im glad to catch him again here.
justin timberlake and andrew garfield are credible in their roles too.
im so glad i managed to catch this show. though it breaks my heart that the girl who kicks the hornet nest is no longer available.
sigh. you cant win 'em all.
megamind amuses the elder son to no end.
though hubbi and i agreed that the plot is more suitable for the adults than the kids.
nothing fantastic like toy story 3, but much better than alpha & omega and despicable me still.
coming up next: our pre-30 party @ MBS this saturday!
gimme the strength to stay sober... wahahaha.
the theme of the party is SO YOUNG. LOL.
i guess getting intoxicated is part of being young? :P
