big circle for us!

hubbi and me took leave yesterday and we were outside from morning till evening with the two terrors!
what a feat but we did it!
though i K.Oed with the kids at 10+ pm, muhaha.
leaving poor hubbi to finish up some house chores and settling yr's 1130pm night feed. :P

we were out of the house since 830am!
1st stop: off to ICA to collect yr's passport!
yup! the lil' tot is going to have his own passport and will be travelling with us next year. :)

photo taking time while waiting for the husband to drive down the car.

2nd stop: after collection of passport, its sean lau photography time for yr!
the initial plan was to let yz join in the session.
but luck has it that he was in an extremely unco-operative mode yesterday, so we scrapped the idea. :[
photo-taking session with yr alone was no better!
even as sean pointed out, yr is a much more active baby than yz and his attention span is so short.
though much has to do with the session clashing with his all-so-important morning nap. @_@
i think im more tired than any of them after the session....

cant wait to see the photos too! :)
need to wait for another 2 weeks before selection time.
i wonder if we can get all the soft copies back before his actual birthday..
am in the midst of doing up a photobook for yr just like what we did for yz previously.
the photoshoot photos will be a neat addition to it.

3rd stop: food feast @ bendemeer hawker!
at the expense of sounding like a stuck-up, it has been eons since ive been to a hawker!
it just wasnt easy doing so with a baby.
but since yr was completed exhasusted and promptly fell asleep after his milk feed, i suggested going to this hawker which is near sean lau's studio!
i spent a considerable time here when my dad set up a 菜饭 stall here some 20years back. wahahaha.
we ate 猪肠粉,水馃,nasi lemak, sliced fish porridge & rojak. *burp*

4th stop: "big circle" time!
since we got an instant win from Mac of 1-for-1 singapore flyer ticket, the ng family decided to 登上摩天轮!

im wearing my $15 buy from bugis village. wahaha.
though the hubbi said it looks like PJ....

its good to visit during a weekday for we got the whole capsule to ourselves!
i thought i would have jitters from the height but the ride was over faster than i thought..
it's certainly not cheap even given the discount we had. :P

yr has fun crawling around on the benches inside. :)

this is the most interesting sight for the day:
floating balls on the river that will light up to an xmas-tree shape at night!
yesterday was a lil' hazy for view as you can see...

5th stop: Suntec city
it took me immense willpower not to buy any stuff but only a hair curling cream which is pretty much a necessity since my current one is running out.
we bought toys for the brothers though.

now, kiddy rides seem more worth it when the 2 brothers can take it together. haha.

brought the husband to try Ootoya as i thought their charcoal grilled chicken is really delicious.
in the end, he pefers my sweet & sour pork. wahaha.
he does have chinese taste buds after all.

happy hubbi - lookin more tanned and more like a thai after his stanchart 10km run last weekend.

after that, we made a beeline home.
we were too utterly spent for words!
though hectic, its been a fun and fulfilling day for us! :)
