yesterday was family day held by my company at downtown east!

dear dear and me set off at around 11+ in the morning for downtown east. apart from the goodie bag and free lunch, the whole event was pretty disappointing. it started to rain from after lunch and we can't really make use of the sponsored ticket to escape theme park.

what a waste. :(

still, we entertained ourselves pretty well strolling in the compounds of downtown east.

at around 3+, we set off for tiong bahru ntuc to grab some stuff for our house. we grabbed stuff like broom, mop, detergents, toilet papers, tissue boxes, toothpaste etc. and the bill came up to 100+ bucks! unbelievable!
luckily, such items need to be purchased once every few months only.

then its house cleaning all the wayyyyyyyy. my poor hands feel so rough after that. i need to wear gloves the next time!

anyway, renovation should be completed by mid-week and furnitures should be arriving by this weekend. which means to say, we are ready to move in by next weekend! *woohoo~*
quite excited over the idea of having my own place but i really dread the thought of cleaning up. *bleh*
