HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU!
its been a good break for me for the past 5 days. but as usual, good times pass too fast and its back to working for me tomorrow once again. bleh, what a letdown.
anyway, i've fun for this chinese new year. my time was all mainly spent at my house, ah long's house and my gramps. still, i managed to catch 2 movies, won some money (little bit which i spent on cab mostly, ha) in gambling and received more ang pow money than last year.
ang pow money: they came in handy! i've insurance premium (half-yearly) to pay this month end so there goes my ang pow money. this will be the last year i can receive ang pow. :( supposedly, we dont have to give out any during our first year of marriage next year but my relatives are hearing none of it. so there, dear dear and me are gonna be broke next year!
movies: i caught "fearless" & "memoirs of geisha" this new year.
everyone out there, please watch "fearless"! its fantastic! jet li really shows the world the real deal about chinese martial arts! worth 11/10!
memoir of geisha is just too draggy, too much weird translated analogies thrown around. in short, i wont recommend anyone to watch the film unless you really love to see zhang ziyi dances around madly.
okie, i just want to say i love movies and i want to catch the following films this new year (not in order):
